This summer, Dade Shields set out to capture Blair Conklin in this mini documentary called Unknown Future. It's obvious at about 10 seconds in that Dade is an incredibly talented filmmaker, and Blair an equally talented skimboarder. From his backyard at Tortuava to the sider down at Tenth Street to every other beach in south Laguna, Blair has a better understanding of Laguna's coves, cliffs, and beaches than just about anybody. And that's pretty darn evident throughout this clip. We can't wait to see what's next from either of these guys.

Lucas Gomes was a huge help in making our most recent issue, Summer 2014, a huge success. He hooked us up with an interview with Leandro Azevedo, one of skimboarding's biggest Brazilian pros, and he wrote an awesome story about his recent trips to Chile,  Mexico, and California. To add a bit more context and allure to his travels, we want to share with you this video he just dropped with the help of Skylar Wilson. The footage includes rides from both Wedge and Aliso, both of which are mentioned in his article about the trip.  Pay special attention to the frontside wrap at 1:35. Moves like those are done after hours of practice and countless falls. It's definitely one to be appreciated.
